BRAKE SYSTEM (OTHER): BRAKE PEDAL: REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
2. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

3. DISCONNECT BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS
(a) Remove the brake pedal return spring.
(b) Remove the clip and push rod pin.
(c) Disconnect the push rod clevis from the brake pedal.
4. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the stop light switch connector.
(b) Detach the wire harness clamp from the brake pedal support.
(c) Remove the bolt and nut from the brake pedal support.

5. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
