DESCRIPTION

The signal check circuit detects trouble in the sensor or switch signals which cannot be detected by the DTC check.

Connecting terminals 12 (TS) and 4 (CG) of the DLC3 starts the signal check.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform calibration Programming and Relearning.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - DLC3)

(a) Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DLC3 - BODY GROUND) TC and CG Terminal Circuit

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DLC3 - BODY GROUND)

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY Removal
