Installation





AUDIO / VIDEO: RADIO ANTENNA CORD: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) w/o Sliding Roof:

(1) Apply butyl tape along the marking from the area labeled A to the area labeled E.

(2) Align the positioning tape of the antenna cord with the protrusion of the roof headlining located in the area labeled A and attach the antenna cord up until the area for slack.

(3) Align the positioning tape of the antenna cord with the protrusion of the roof headlining located in the area labeled E and attach the antenna cord up until the area for slack.

(4) Gather the slack in the area for slack and attach the antenna cord.

(5) Fix the antenna cord in place by wrapping tape around the antenna cord and the protrusions in the areas labeled A and E.

(6) Secure the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the locations labeled B, C and D.





(b) w/ Sliding Roof:

(1) Apply butyl tape along the marking from the area labeled A to the area labeled E.

(2) Align the positioning tape of the antenna cord with the protrusion of the roof headlining located in the area labeled A and attach the antenna cord up until the area for slack.

(3) Align the positioning tape of the antenna cord with the protrusion of the roof headlining located in the area labeled E and attach the antenna cord up until the area for slack.

(4) Gather the slack in the area for slack and attach the antenna cord.

(5) Fix the antenna cord in place by wrapping tape around the antenna cord and the protrusions in the areas labeled A and E.

(6) Secure the antenna cord to the roof headlining with tape at the locations labeled B, C and D.





2. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the roof headlining assembly Installation.

3. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the antenna cord with the bolt.

Torque : 8.4 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf)





(b) Attach the 4 clamps.

(c) Connect the 2 connectors.

4. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the upper instrument panel sub-assembly Installation.

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

6. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
