Installation





INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: ROOF HEADLINING: INSTALLATION

HINT
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 SIDE RAIL SPACER LH

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the rear No. 3 side rail spacer.

2. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 SIDE RAIL SPACER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

3. INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE TRIM BASE COVER LH

(a) Attach the 3 claws to install the No. 2 side trim base cover.

4. INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE TRIM BASE COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

5. INSTALL NO. 1 SIDE TRIM BASE COVER LH

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 side trim base cover.

6. INSTALL NO. 1 SIDE TRIM BASE COVER RH

7. INSTALL CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH Installation

9. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

(a) Place the roof headlining into the vehicle through the back door.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the roof headlining when placing it in the cabin.

(b) Install the roof headlining with the 4 clips.

(c) Connect the connector and attach the 4 clamps to the rear pillar RH.

(d) Connect the connector and attach the 3 clamps to the front pillar RH.

(e) w/ Sliding Roof:

Connect the drive gear connector.

(f) Connect the connector and attach the clamp.

(g) Attach the 4 clamps to the front pillar LH.

(a) Install the No. 2 sun roof opening trim moulding.

(a) Install the sun roof opening trim moulding.

14. INSTALL MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY

(a) Assemble the coat hook as shown in the illustration.

17. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY

(a) Assemble the assist grip as shown in the illustration.





(b) Install the assist grip.

18. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER

HINT
Use the same procedure for the other visor holder.

(a) Attach the 2 claws.

(b) Push in the visor holder to install it.

19. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the visor with the 2 screws.

21. INSTALL INNER LOWER ROOF SIDE GARNISH LH

(a) Attach the 7 clips to install the inner lower roof side garnish.

23. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Attach the 2 clips to install the inner roof side garnish.

(b) Install the bolt.

24. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH

25. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH CAP LH

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the inner roof side garnish cap.

26. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH CAP RH

27. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Connect the connector.

(b) Attach the 6 clips, 3 claws and guide to install the deck trim side panel.

(c) Install the bolt and clip.

28. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Attach the 6 clips, 3 claws and guide to install the deck trim side panel.

(b) Install the bolt and clip.

29. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY

HINT
Use the same procedure for all luggage hold belt strikers.

(a) Install the luggage hold belt striker with the bolt.

30. INSTALL UPPER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH

(a) Pass the front seat outer belt floor anchor through the upper center pillar garnish.

(b) Attach the clip to install the upper center pillar garnish.

(c) Install the 2 bolts.

(d) Install the front seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

31. INSTALL UPPER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

32. INSTALL FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Attach the 10 claws and 7 clips to install the front quarter trim panel.

(b) Install the bolt and clip.

(c) Attach the 2 claws to close the cover.

33. INSTALL FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

34. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH





(a) Remove the protective cover.

(b) Attach the 3 guides.

(c) Turn the end of the front pillar garnish clip 90° with needle-nose pliers and install it to the front pillar garnish.

HINT
Tape the tips of the needle-nose pliers before use.

(d) Attach the 2 clips to install the front pillar garnish.

(a) Install the jack.

(a) Attach the 6 claws and 6 guides to install the back door scuff plate.

50. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the deck board.

51. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)

(a) Install the tonneau cover.

52. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

53. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
