Blower Case Replacement




Blower Case Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the HVAC module. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Replacement (Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Replacement).




2. Disengage each clamp (1), if equipped with PTC quick heater.




3. Remove the blower case.

* Remove the screw (1) and disengage the PTC quick heater connector, if equipped.
* Remove the three screws (2).

4. Remove the recirculation actuator. Refer to Air Inlet Valve Actuator Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Remove the passenger compartment air filter. Refer to Passenger Compartment Air Filter Replacement (Service and Repair).
6. Remove the blower motor resistor. Refer to Blower Motor Resistor Replacement (Service and Repair).
7. Remove the blower motor. Refer to Blower Motor Replacement (Service and Repair).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the blower motor. Refer to Blower Motor Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Install the blower motor resistor. Refer to Blower Motor Resistor Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Install the passenger compartment air filter. Refer to Passenger Compartment Air Filter Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Install the recirculation actuator. Refer to Air Inlet Valve Actuator Replacement (Service and Repair).





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

5. Install the three screws (2).
6. Install the screw (1) and engage the PTC quick heater connector, if equipped.




7. Engage each clamp (1), if equipped with PTC quick heater.
8. Install the HVAC module. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Replacement (Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Replacement).
