KE7 - Check IAC Circuit For Short to Ground

- Key Off.

- Breakout box installed, PCM disconnected.

- IAC solenoid disconnected.

- Measure resistance between Test Pin 83 (IAC) and Test Pins 51 and 103 (PWR GND) at the breakout box.

- Is each resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

YES -- GO to KE8. KE8 - Check IAC Signal From PCM

NO -- SERVICE short circuit. RECONNECT all components. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
