KE8 - Check IAC Signal From PCM

- Key Off.

- Breakout box installed.

- Reconnect PCM to breakout box.

- Reconnect IAC solenoid.

- Connect DVOM between Test Pin 83 (IAC) and Test Pin 51 (PWR GND) at the breakout box.

- Start engine.

- Slowly increase rpm to 3000 rpm.

- Is voltage between 3.0 and 11.5 volts?

YES -- REMOVE IAC and check throttle body. If OK, REPLACE IAC valve assembly. REMOVE breakout box. RECONNECT all components. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes

NO -- REPLACE PCM. REMOVE breakout box. RECONNECT all components. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
