KE1 - Idle Concerns or Stalls: Run KOER Self-Test

The symptom flow charts have indicated that there was no change in idle quality when the IAC was disconnected.

- Run Key On Engine Running (KOER) Self-Test and look for a DTC 0505 indicating an IAC malfunction.

- Is DTC 0505 output?

YES -- KOER DTC 0505 has indicated a malfunction in the IAC. GO to KE2. KE2 - DTC 0505 or Starts Only at Part Throttle

NO -- The IAC system is OK. RETURN to Symptom Flow Charts. Testing and Inspection
