HE80 - Check Vacuum Source and Hoses to and From EVR Solenoid

- Key Off.

- Disconnect vacuum hoses at EVR solenoid.

- Connect EVR vacuum supply hose to a vacuum gauge.

- With engine warm and at idle, take vacuum gauge reading.

- Inspect vacuum lines between vacuum source and EVR and between EVR and EGR valve for leaks, kinks, disconnects, blockage, routing or any damage.

- Is the vacuum gauge reading a minimum of 15 inHg at Idle and vacuum lines OK?

YES -- RECONNECT all components. GO to HE81. HE81 - Check VPWR to EVR Solenoid

NO -- ISOLATE fault and SERVICE as necessary. RECONNECT all components. Complete PCM reset to clear DTCs. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
