Installation

EXTERIOR: FRONT BUMPER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER BAR REINFORCEMENT LH

(a) Install the front bumper bar reinforcement with the 2 screws.

2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER BAR REINFORCEMENT RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

(a) Attach the claw to install the front bumper side retainer and install the screw.

4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

5. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER

(a) Install the radiator support opening cover with the 2 clips.

6. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION LOWER CROSSMEMBER

(a) Install the front suspension lower crossmember with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 25 Nm (255 kgf-cm, 18 ft-lbf)

(b) Install the 3 clips.

7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER LOWER ABSORBER

(a) Install the front bumper lower absorber.

8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION LH

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the front bumper reinforcement extension.

9. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

10. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

(a) Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 6 bolts.

Torque : 29 Nm (296 kgf-cm, 21 ft-lbf)

(b) Attach the clamp to install the cooler thermistor.

(c) w/ Air Suspension:

Install the height control filter to the front bumper reinforcement.

11. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

(a) Install the front bumper energy absorber.

12. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER

(a) w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System:

Connect the No. 4 engine room wire.

(b) w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

Connect the headlight cleaner hose.

(c) Connect the 2 fog light connectors.

(d) Attach the 6 claws to install the front bumper cover.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(e) Install the bumper seal bracket.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(f) Install the 8 screws.

13. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH

(a) Position the grooves on the 2 pin hold clips vertically and insert the 2 clips to install them.

NOTICE:
Make sure that the groove on the pin hold clip is positioned vertically.

14. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

15. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH

(a) for 2WD:

Install the front wheel opening extension pad with the 3 screws.

(b) for AWD:

Install the front wheel opening extension pad with the 6 screws.

16. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

17. INSTALL FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING LH
