Installation





SEAT BELT: REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Check the degree of tilt when the ELR begins to lock.





(1) Check that the belt does not lock at less than 15 degrees of tilt in any direction but locks at over 45 degrees of tilt while gently pulling the belt.

NOTICE:
Do not disassemble the retractor.

(b) Install the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH with the bolt.





Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Sunshade)

(a) Pass the 3 rear seat belt floor anchors through the package tray trim panel assembly.





(b) Engage the 2 clips and 6 claws to install the package tray trim panel assembly.

3. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Sunshade) Installation

4. INSTALL CENTER STOP LIGHT SET (w/o Rear Sunshade) Installation

5. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER

(a) Engage the 4 claws to install the rear seat shoulder belt hole cover.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the other 2 rear seat shoulder belt hole covers.

6. CONNECT REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Install the floor end of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH with the bolt.





Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH to overlap the protruding parts of the floor panel.

(b) Check if the ELR locks.

NOTICE:
The check should be performed with the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH installed.

(1) With the belt assembly installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

7. INSTALL REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the floor end of the rear seat 3 point type belt assembly LH with the bolt.





Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat 3 point type belt assembly LH to overlap the protruding parts of the floor panel.

(b) Check if the ELR locks.

NOTICE:
The check should be performed with the outer belt assembly installed.

(1) With the belt assembly installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

8. INSTALL REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.

13. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Installation

14. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Installation

15. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY Installation

16. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

17. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

18. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH with the bolt.





Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH to overlap the protruding parts of the floor panel.

19. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Installation

20. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

21. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

NOTICE:
Some systems need initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal Repair Instruction - Initialization.
