Disassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat): DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

(a) Remove the seat adjuster cover cap RH.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

3. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Driver Side)

(a) Remove the screw and vertical adjusting handle.

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the 11 claws and clip, and remove the front seat cushion shield.

5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) Removal

6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

8. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Disconnect the rubber band.

(b) Disengage the fastener and separate the seat side airbag wire harness.

(2) Disengage the clamp and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

(3) Disconnect the connector.

(4) Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the seat heater wire harness.

(d) Disengage the 4 hooks.

(e) Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Remove the 2 hog rings.

(b) Remove the 21 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover.

10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Disengage the 2 fasteners.

(b) Remove the 5 hog rings.

(d) Disengage the fastener.

(e) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

(f) Remove the nut.

(g) Disengage the 2 hooks and disconnect the front seatback cover bracket.

(h) Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the seat frame.

11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Remove the 14 hog rings and separate type front seatback cover.

12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Detach the 3 pieces of double-sided tape and remove the front seat cushion cover.

(a) Detach the 4 pieces of double-sided tape and remove the front seatback cover.

14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

Removal

15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

(c) Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Driver Side)

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

(c) Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

17. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

18. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (for Driver Side)

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seat cushion edge protector LH.

20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seat cushion edge protector LH.

21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Driver Side)

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seat cushion edge protector RH.

22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seat cushion edge protector RH.

23. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side) Removal

24. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) Removal

25. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.

26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE (w/ Seat Heater System)

(a) Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the front seat wire.

27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Disconnect the 4 connectors.

(b) Disengage the 7 clamps and remove the front seat wire RH.

28. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 bolts and the separate type front seatback spring assembly.

29. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

(a) Disengage the 2 hooks and 2 handle ends, and remove the seat track adjusting handle.
