Installation

1UR-FSE STARTING: STARTER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the flywheel housing side cover.





(b) Install the terminal lower cover with the nut.





Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(c) Install the starter with the 2 bolts.





Torque : 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)





NOTICE:
Make sure that the flywheel housing cover is as shown in the illustration.

(d) Install the wire harness with the nut.





Torque : 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 88 in-lbf)

(e) Connect the starter connector.

(f) Install the terminal upper cover.

8. CONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2) Installation

9. CONNECT HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2) Installation

10. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER CENTER LH Installation

11. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER CENTER RH Installation

12. INSTALL FRONT CENTER FLOOR BRACE Installation

13. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR PANEL BRACE Installation

14. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR

(a) Install the front stabilizer bar Installation.

15. INSTALL FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the front active stabilizer control actuator assembly Installation.

16. INSTALL WIRE HARNESS Installation

17. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT Installation

18. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

19. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

20. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

21. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

22. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

23. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER NO.2

24. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER

25. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

26. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation

27. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

28. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

29. INSTALL FRONT WHEELS

30. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

31. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK
