Installation

1UR-FSE CHARGING: GENERATOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL GENERATOR

(a) Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, set the generator with the 2 stud bolts.





Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(b) Install the generator with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.





Torque : 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)

(c) Install the wire harness bracket with the nut.





Torque : 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

(d) Connect the harness to the +B terminal with nut A.





Torque : 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(e) Install the oil cooler tube with bolt B.

Torque : 14 Nm (140 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

(f) Connect wire harness clamp C.

(g) Connect generator connector D.

2. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR (w/o Active Stabilizer System)

(a) Install the front stabilizer bar Installation.

3. INSTALL FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Active Stabilizer System)

(a) Install the front active stabilizer control actuator assembly Installation.

4. INSTALL WIRE HARNESS

(a) Connect the wire harness with the bolt and clamp.





Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

5. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT Installation

6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

7. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

8. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation

9. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

10. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

11. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER

12. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

13. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation

14. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

15. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

16. INSTALL FRONT WHEELS

17. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
