Removal
SUSPENSION: FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM (for 4WD): REMOVAL
1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
2. SEPARATE SPEED SENSOR FRONT Removal
3. SEPARATE FRONT SUSPENSION UPPER ARM Removal
4. SEPARATE TIE ROD ASSEMBLY Removal
5. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING Removal
7. SEPARATE HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER
9. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION LOWER ARM
(a) Support the front suspension crossmember with a transmission jack.
NOTICE:
Be sure to place a wooden block between the front suspension crossmember and transmission jack.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts from the front lower ball joint.
(c) Loosen the installation nut of the lower arm No.2 bracket sub-assembly.
NOTICE:
Do not remove the nut.
(d) Put a matchmark on the front suspension camber No.2 adjust cam.
HINT
Put a matchmark on the bolt.
(e) Remove the nut,
(f) Remove the 4 bolts, side rail plate and front suspension lower arm with the lower arm No.2 bracket sub-assembly.
10. REMOVE FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT Removal
11. REMOVE LOWER ARM NO.2 BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the nut, washer and lower arm No.2 bracket sub-assembly from the front suspension lower arm.
12. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION LOWER ARM
