Removal





SEAT BELT: REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

HINT
* Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
* The procedures listed below are for the RH side.
* A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH AND LH

4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE Removal

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH Removal

7. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH Removal

8. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ANCHOR





Remove the bolt and anchor part of the rear seat outer belt assembly.

9. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ANCHOR RH





(a) Disconnect the connector labeled A.

(b) Remove the bolt and seat belt labeled B.

10. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Sunshade) Removal

11. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY





Disconnect the pretensioner connector, as shown in the illustration.

(a) Disconnect the tension reducer connector.





Remove the 2 bolts and seat belt.
