SEAT BELT: REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL
HINT
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Removal
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT BELT OUTER ANCHOR
(a) Remove the bolt and anchor.
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Disconnect the connector labeled A.
(b) Remove the bolt and the anchor part of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH labeled B.
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Disconnect the connector labeled A.
(b) Remove the bolt and the anchor part of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH labeled B.
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH AND LH
(a) Remove the 2 headrests.
7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE Removal
9. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH Removal
10. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER Removal
11. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Sunshade)
Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and remove the belt guide LH.
HINT
Use the same procedures described for the RH side.
Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and remove the belt guide center.
Detach the clip and remove the panel.
12. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY
(a) Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and remove the guide part of the rear seat outer belt assembly.
Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 claws and remove the guide part of the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH.
Detach the clip and 5 claws.
(b) Disconnect the connector and remove the package tray trim panel.
13. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
Remove the bolt and rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH.
