Removal








SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH Removal
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Disassembly
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER Removal
5. REMOVE WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE Removal
7. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY Removal
9. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH Disassembly
10. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FRONT LH





(a) Using a screwdriver, pry out the front seat belt hole cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Using a screwdriver, pry out the lap belt outer anchor cover.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(c) for Passenger Side:
Disconnect the connector and clamp.
(d) Remove the anchor's built-in bolt from the main floor side member.





(e) Remove the 6 screws and clip.
(f) Using a screwdriver, pry out the quarter trim panel.
HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.





11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the anchors built-in bolt from the center body pillar inner.
(b) Disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.
(c) Remove the 2 bolts and outer belt.
