This is the display signal circuit from the video terminal to the television display.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (VIDEO TERMINAL - MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER)




(a) Disconnect the L78*1or Y3*2 terminal connector.
(b) Disconnect the R31 controller connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
W/O Ottoman





W/ Ottoman





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER - TELEVISION DISPLAY)




(a) Disconnect the R30 controller connector.
(b) Disconnect the R19 display connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. REPLACE VIDEO TERMINAL WITH NORMAL ONE AND CHECK
(a) Replace the video terminal for Standard Removal or Ottoman Removal with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again.
OK:
Same problem does not occur.
NG -- REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER
OK -- END (VIDEO TERMINAL IS DEFECTIVE)
