DOOR / HATCH: HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Pass the hood lock control cable assembly into the engine compartment.

(b) Pass the cable through the upper radiator support.

(c) Engage the clamps as shown in the illustration.

2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the hood lock control cable assembly to install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

(b) Engage the 3 claws and install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the lock.

(b) Connect the hood lock control cable assembly.

Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(e) Install a new hood lock nut cap.

5. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER

(a) Engage the clamp.

(b) Install the hood lock control cable cover with the 3 screws.

6. INSTALL LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY Installation

7. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Installation

8. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

9. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY Installation

10. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

11. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH Installation

12. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH Installation

13. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM HEAD CAP Installation

14. INSTALL FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL LH Installation

15. INSTALL FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL RH Installation

16. INSTALL FRONT FENDER TOP REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Installation

17. INSTALL FRONT FENDER TOP REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Installation

18. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Installation

19. INSTALL HOOD CENTER CUSHION Installation

20. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Adjustments

21. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

22. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER Installation

23. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

24. ADJUST FOG LIGHT AIMING

25. ADD WASHER FLUID (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) Installation

26. INSPECT HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY Testing and Inspection
