A4 Check Harness Signal Continuity - D to 4 Switch

A4 CHECK HARNESS SIGNAL CONTINUITY - D TO 4 SWITCH





1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the harness connector.
3. With EM007 and FC083 disconnected, measure the resistance between FC083/003 and EM007/028.
4. Repeat for FC083/001 and EM007/013.
- Is the resistance less than 0.5 ohms?
Yes --> GO to [A5] A5 Check D to 4 Switch
No --> Inspect EM007 and FC083 EM001 for corrosion, bent/pushed back pins or locate and repair the harness/splice EMS25 and FCS62. Test the system for normal operation.
