B210C STARTER CONTROL RELAY





Description
Starter control relay, integrated in IPDM E/R, permits the starter relay operation when in the N or P position and the steering is locked or unlocked. It is installed parallel to the starter relay.




DTC Logic

DTC DETECTION LOGIC

NOTE:
- If DTC B210C is displayed with DTC U1000, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1000. Refer to IPDM E/R.
- When IPDM E/R power supply voltage is low (Approx. 7 - 8 V for about 1 second), the DTC B210C may be detected.






DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1. Turn the power supply position to start under the following conditions and wait 1 second or more.

A/T models
- Selector lever is in the P or N position
- Do not depress brake pedal

M/T models
- Do not depress clutch pedal
2. Check "Self-diagnosis result" using CONSULT-III.
Is DTC detected?
YES - Go to B210C.
NO - INSPECTION END




Diagnosis Procedure
1.INSPECTION START
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check "Self-diagnosis result" for IPDM E/R using CONSULT-III.
3. Touch "ERASE".
4. Perform DTC Confirmation Procedure.

Is the DTC B210C displayed again?
YES - Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO - INSPECTION END
