DR-1I Automatic Idle Speed Motor Operation

1. Connect diagnostic read-out tool to engine test connector.
2. Position read-out tool read/hold switch in read position.
3. Connect a suitable tachometer to engine.
4. Start engine, then disconnect and re-connect engine coolant sensor.
5. Place diagnostic read-out tool read/hold switch in the hold position.
6. If engine speed increased to 1500 RPM, proceed to Test 1 step N. DR-1N Logic Module Ground Circuits
7. If engine speed does not increase, proceed to Test 1 step J. DR-1J Automatic Idle Speed Motor Signal
