Stabilizer Bar
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
• Torque Wrench 5-50 Nm (V.A.G 1331)
Removing
- Remove rear wheels.
- Remove the stone chip protection from the trailing arm. Refer to => [ Stone Guard ] Stone Guard.
• The following procedure is described for the left side of the vehicle. The procedure is identical for the right side of the vehicle.
- Remove the nut - 1 - and pull coupling rod - 2 - out of stabilizer.
- Remove the bolts - arrows - from the clamp on the stabilizer bar.
- Remove the stabilizer bar.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
