Driver Side A-Pillar 6 Pin Connector Station

Removing






- With the ignition switched off, disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Remove the lower left A-pillar trim..

- Press the retaining clip in the - direction of the arrow - and disengage the connector station - 3 - at the A-pillar.

- Unclip the fuse panels from the coupling station.

- Disconnect the airbag electrical connector - 1 -.

- Remove the mount - 2 - for the interior CAN cut off connector (T46i). Refer to => [ Interior CAN Cut Off Connector Mount ] Interior CAN Cut Off Connector Mount.

- Remove the relay and control modules.






- Release the retaining clips - arrows - and press the relay carrier - 2 - back and out of the bracket - 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install the interior CAN cut off connector mount. Refer to => [ Interior CAN Cut Off Connector Mount ] Interior CAN Cut Off Connector Mount.

- Connect the airbag connector.

- Install the lower left A-pillar trim.

- Connect the battery. Refer to => [ Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
