Power Convertible Top Valves (N272)/(N341)/(N342)
Injury risk.
• There must be no pressure inside the hydraulic system when performing the following work.
Removing
- Remove hydraulic pump. Refer to => [ Hydraulic Pump ] Hydraulic Pump.
Risk of damage.
• Carefully release the connector from the valve with a small screwdriver. Do not break the locking mechanism.
- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.
- Remove the bolt - 3 -.
- Remove it by lightly turning the valve - 2 - out of the valve block - 4 -.
Installation
• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Motor Overview and Hydraulic Pump Fluid Reservoir ] Motor Overview and Hydraulic Pump Fluid Reservoir.
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
- Make sure the hole for the valve is clean.
- Install the replacement valve into the hole and tighten the screws to the tightening specification.
- Install hydraulic pump. Refer to => [ Hydraulic Pump ] Hydraulic Pump.
- Check the fluid level and fill with fluid if necessary. Refer to => [ Hydraulic System, Filling and Bleeding ] Hydraulic System, Filling and Bleeding.
