Hydraulic Pump Fluid Reservoir







Hydraulic Pump Fluid Reservoir

Removing

- Remove hydraulic pump. Refer to => [ Hydraulic Pump ] Hydraulic Pump.

Before removing, place a cloth or a collector tray under the pump to catch any hydraulic fluid that may leak out.

- Open and close the fluid filler plug one time to equalize the pressure.

- Drain the fluid reservoir if necessary.

- Hold the pump and fluid reservoir upright.






- Loosen the hose clamps - 3 - and remove them.

- Remove oil reservoir - 1 - by lightly turning it off of the valve block - 2 -.

Do not damage the oil screen - 2 - in the valve block - 1 - when doing so.






Installing

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Motor Overview and Hydraulic Pump Fluid Reservoir ] Motor Overview and Hydraulic Pump Fluid Reservoir.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Replace the O-ring.

Secure all of the hose connections with hose clamps using the corresponding methods. Refer to Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

Note location.

If the fluid reservoir is replaced, make sure the fluid filler plug is exactly vertical and in the center of the valve block.

Only then are the MIN and MAX marks correct.

- Install the oil reservoir by lightly turning it onto the valve block.

- Install hydraulic pump. Refer to => [ Hydraulic Pump ] Hydraulic Pump.

- Check the fluid level and fill with fluid if necessary. Refer to => [ Hydraulic System, Filling and Bleeding ] Hydraulic System, Filling and Bleeding.
