Roof Frame Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Pry Lever - Rmv Outside Mirror (80 - 200)

Removing






- Remove the front interior lamp (W1).

- Remove sun visors. Refer to => [ Sun Visor ] Sun Visor.

- Remove the sun visor center bracket. Refer to => [ Sun Visor Center Bracket ] Sun Visor Center Bracket.

- Vehicles with anti-theft alarm system: remove the trim for the interior sensor. Refer to => [ Interior Sensor Trim ] Interior Sensor Trim.

- Unclip the roof frame trim - 1 - from the roof frame - arrows - using the (80 - 200).

- Lower the roof frame trim as far as possible.

- Vehicles with illumination: disconnect the connector

- Remove the roof frame trim.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

• If the trim clamps remain in the body mounting points, remove them and insert them in the trim.

• Check clamps for damage or deformation, replace if necessary.

- Press the roof frame trim panel back on until it engages audibly.
