8 High-Pressure Line

There is a risk of injury because the fuel is under very high pressure.

Reduce the fuel pressure down to residual pressure before opening the high pressure area of the fuel injection system.

Reduce the fuel pressure in the high pressure area, refer to => [ Releasing Pressure in High Pressure Area ] Releasing Pressure In High Pressure Area.

Removing and installing, refer to => [ High Pressure Line ] Service and Repair

Do not change the shape of the line

Check for damage before installing

Counter hold the connecting pieces when loosening and tightening high pressure lines

Tighten again before installing the connection for the high pressure line => [ (Item 3) Connecting Piece ] High Pressure Pump Overview

Coat the threads on the union nut with fuel.
