Removing






- Remove front center armrest. Refer to => [ Front Center Armrest ] Front Center Armrest.

- Disconnect the connectors - 1 - and - 2 -.

- If present, remove CD Changer (R41) with installation frame.

- Remove center console storage compartment. Refer to => [ Center Console Storage Compartment ] Center Console Storage Compartment.

- Remove front ashtray/front compartment. Refer to => [ Front Ashtray/Front Compartment ] Front Ashtray/Front Compartment.

- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.






- Remove shift mechanism housing insulation - 2 -.

- Remove front screws - arrows -.






- Remove screws - 1 to 3 -.

- Raise center console over lower part of center armrest support foot - arrow 1 - and remove front center console from mounts on instrument panel - arrow 2 -.






- Remove center console back over selector lever.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Ensue center console is inserted correctly into left and right mounts on instrument panel.
