Front Ashtray/Front Compartment

Removing

- Remove the selector lever transmission range position display unit (Y26).

Vehicles without CD Changer in Center Console Storage Compartment:






- Remove center console storage compartment. Refer to => [ Center Console Storage Compartment ] Center Console Storage Compartment.

- Reach through the center console storage compartment opening and press Multimedia Control Head (E380) installation frame - 1 - upward - arrow -.

Vehicles with CD Changer in Center Console Storage Compartment:

- Grasp through selector lever boot opening and pull Multimedia Control Head (E380) installation frame - 1 - upward - arrow -.

Vehicles with ashtray:






- Remove the bolts - arrows -.

- Remove the front ashtray - 2 - toward the rear.

- Disconnect ashtray light - 1 - and cigarette lighter electrical connectors at front ashtray.

Vehicles with a Front Storage Compartment:






- Remove the screws - 1 and 3 -.

- Remove the front storage compartment - 2 - toward the rear.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Press Multimedia Control Head (E380) installation frame into center console locking mechanisms until it completely engages.
