Footrest Cover and Bracket

Removing and Installing The Footrest Cover

Removing

- Remove lower instrument panel trim on driver side. Refer to => [ Instrument Panel Covers on Driver Side Assembly Overview ] Instrument Panel Covers on Driver Side Assembly Overview.

- Remove the lower A-pillar trim. Refer to => [ A-Pillar Lower Trim ] A-Pillar Lower Trim.

- Remove screw, refer to => [ (Item 2) Bolt ] Footrest Cover and Bracket Overview.

- Slide the footrest cover upward until the tab disengages from the footrest bracket window.

- Remove the footrest cover.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Ensure that the tab engages correctly => [ (Item 6) Tab ] Footrest Cover and Bracket Overview in the footrest bracket window.

Removing And Installing The Footrest Bracket

- Remove the footrest cover.

- Fold the floor covering back in the footrest area.

- Remove 3 nuts, refer to => [ (Item 5) Nut ] Footrest Cover and Bracket Overview.

- Remove the footrest bracket.

Install in reverse order of removal.

Tightening specification, refer to => [ Footrest Cover and Bracket Overview ] Footrest Cover and Bracket Overview.
