Self-Leveling Suspension

Rear Vehicle Level Sensor

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1410)

Removing






- Disconnect electrical connector - 2 -.

- Remove the bolt - 1 - from the coupling rod.

- Remove the bolts - 3 - and the vehicle level sensor.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Sensor lever must point toward front.

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Upper Transverse Link, Tie Rod and Lower Transverse Link Overview ] Upper Transverse Link, Tie Rod and Lower Transverse Link Overview.

- Adapt the control position. Refer to => [ Self-Leveling Suspension Control Position, Programming with Vehicle Diagnostic Tester ] Testing and Inspection.

- Perform a basic setting on the headlamp.
