Depth Adjustment Motor Carrier V256/V257

Driver seat depth adjustment motor (V256) / front passenger seat depth adjustment motor (V257)

Removing

• Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Pyrotechnic, Electrical and Mechanical Restraint System Components, Safety Precautions and Testing Procedures ] Testing and Inspection.

• Before handling pyrotechnical components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling them must "discharge static electricity". For example, by briefly touching the door striker pin.

- Remove the front seat => [ Power Standard Seat/Sport Seat/Super Sport Seat ] Power Standard Seat/Sport Seat/Super Sport Seat.

- Remove front trim bracket, compressor and multi-contour seat control module. Refer to => [ Front Trim Bracket, Compressor and Multicontour Seat Control Module ] Front Trim Bracket, Compressor and Multicontour Seat Control Module.

- Partially remove upholstery from front seat cover and on the tunnel side. Refer to => [ Seat Cover with Seat Cushion for Multi-contour Seat ] Seat Cover With Seat Cushion For Multi-Contour Seat.

- Release latches - arrows - with a screwdriver and remove depth adjustment motor carrier - 1 -






Installation

• Before handling pyrotechnical components (for example, connecting electrical connector), the person handling them must "discharge static electricity". For example, by briefly touching the door striker pin.

• Observe all measures when installing the front seat. Refer to => [ Power Standard Seat/Sport Seat/Super Sport Seat ] Power Standard Seat/Sport Seat/Super Sport Seat.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
