Reinforcement Brace

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Pry lever (80 - 200)






Removing






- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to => [ Front Bumper Cover ] Front Bumper Cover.

- Remove the mount - 1 - for the infrared camera (R212) and free up the windshield washer fluid hose - 2 -. Refer to => [ Infrared Camera Mount ] Infrared Camera Mount.

- Free up the wiring harness - 3 - using pry lever (80 - 200).

- Remove the bolts - 2 and 3 -.






- Release the tab - 4 - and remove the left support - 5 - - arrow A -.

- Release the tabs - arrows B - and remove the reinforcement brace - 1 - to the rear.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Bumper Cover Assembly Overview ] Bumper Cover Assembly Overview.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Install the mount for the infrared camera (R212). Refer to => [ Infrared Camera Mount ] Infrared Camera Mount.

- Install the front bumper cover. Refer to => [ Front Bumper Cover ] Front Bumper Cover.
