Rear Parallel Parking Assistance Sensors (G716)/(G717)

Removal






- Remove the rear bumper cover.

- Press both catches- arrows - to side and press sensor - 1 - inward from outside.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 2 - by sliding the retainer - 3 - back and pressing the release down.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the rear bumper cover.

If the bumper cover was removed, the lane change assistance control module (J769) / (J770) must be calibrated again. Refer to => [ Lane Change Assistance, Preparing for Calibration ] Lane Change Assistance, Preparing For Calibration.
