Subframe Mount Overview
1 Bolt
• 60 Nm plus an additional 90° turn
• Replace
• Transmission mount to transmission
2 Bolts
• Transmission with threaded inserts
• 50 Nm plus an additional 90°
• Transmission without threaded inserts
• 40 Nm plus an additional 90° turn
• Pendulum support to transmission
• Always replace
• Allocate

Transmission with Threaded Inserts (for Example, "HeliCoil") for Attaching the Pendulum Support
• The holes for the pendulum support on transmissions from 05.28.07 have threaded inserts (for example "HeliCoil").
• Identification: Section on the first coil - arrow -.
• Different tightening specifications, - item 2 - => [ (Item 2) Bolts ].
• Allocate the bolt, refer to the Parts Catalog.
Transmission Side Subframe Mount Tightening Sequence
- First install transmission mount on transmission - arrows -.
- Raise transmission with Engine Support Bridge (10 - 222 A) spindle until transmission mount - 1 - touches transmission mount support arm - 2 -.
- Next install bolts - arrows B - but only tighten by hand.
Risk of damaging threads in transmission mount support arm due to bolts inserted crooked.
• Before installing bolts - arrows B -, transmission mount - 1 - and transmission mount support arm - 2 - must be absolutely parallel to each other. If necessary, raise rear of transmission with trolley jack.
- Only tighten bolts if subframe is installed.
