Seat Pan and Seat Adjustment Controls Component Overview

• On power seats, the upper and lower seat pan frames can be separated and replaced individually.

• When removing the seat pan, make sure the bushings in the bearing points (upper and lower frame threaded connection) are not damaged. These bushing cannot be replaced with workshop materials.






1 Bushing

• Inserted in all bracket locations

• Cannot be replaced with workshop materials

• Replace if damaged, allocation => Electronic Parts Catalog

2 Bolt

• Self-locking

• Replace

• 20 Nm

• Threaded holes for screws must always be cleaned (for example, with thread cutter)

3 Seat Inclination Adjustment Motor

• Driver Seat Angle Adjustment Motor (V243)

• Passenger Seat Angle Adjustment Motor (V244)

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Seat Angle Adjustment Motor ] Seat Angle Adjustment Motor

4 Bolt

• 12 Nm

5 Retaining Plate

6 Bolt

• 12 Nm

7 Bolt

• Self-locking

• Replace

• 28 Nm

9 Seat Pan Upper Frame

10 Toothed Segment

• For seat height adjustment

11 Bolt

• Self-locking

• Replace

• 28 Nm

• Threaded holes for screws must always be cleaned (for example, with thread cutter)

12 Forward/Back Seat Adjustment Motor

• Driver Seat Forward/Back Adjustment Motor (V28)

• Front Passenger Seat Forward/Back Adjustment Motor (V31)

• cannot be removed and installed with workshop equipment

• Stays on the seat pan lower frame - 16 -
