Oil Pan, Oil Strainer and Mechatronic Overview
Do not let the engine run or tow the vehicle when the oil pan is removed or when there is no ATF in the engine.
• Always replace the Mechatronic unit if it is dirty or faulty.
• Automatic transmission clean working conditions, refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] Clean Working Conditions.
• General repair instructions, refer to => [ General Repair Information ] General Repair Information.
• Coat O-rings and seals with ATF. Other types of lubrication lead to faults in the transmission hydraulics.
1 Bolt
• 11 Nm
• For attaching the oil pan to the transmission
• Follow the tightening specifications and sequence, refer to : => [ Oil Pan ] Oil Pan.
2 ATF Drain Plug
• Always replace plug.
• 12 Nm
3 ATF Inspection Plug
• 80 Nm
4 O-ring
• Always replace
5 Fluid Pan
• Refer to => [ Oil Pan ] Oil Pan
6 Magnet
• Ensure full surface contact
• Clean before installation
7 Cover Cap
• Inserted in oil pan opening
8 Magnet
• Ensure full surface contact
• Clean before installation
9 Oil Pan Seal
• Always replace
10 Oil Screen

11 O-ring
• Always replace
12 Wiring Harness Connector Clip
13 Wiring Harness in Transmission

14 Bolt
• 8 Nm
