Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Memory, Checking (Function 02)

NOTE: The displayed DTC information is updated only when initiating OBD or with "Erase DTC Memory" function 05.

- Initiate On Board Diagnostic (OBD) of immobilizer.






Display on VAS 5051:

- In selection -1-, click on the diagnostic function "02 - Check DTC Memory.







Display on VAS 5051:

1 - DTC memory content:

- 0 malfunctions recognized

or

- X malfunctions recognized

2 - Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)

- DTC
- malfunction location
- malfunction type

If malfunctions were recognized:
- Print out Screen content or On Board Diagnostic (OBD) protocol:
- Press <- button







Display on VAS 5051:

- Repair malfunction(s) according to DTC table. With Manufacturer Scan Tool
- In selection -1-, press diagnostic function "02 - Check DTC Memory" again and Erase DTC Memory With Manufacturer Scan Tool
- In selection, click on diagnostic function "06 - End Output". End Output (Function 06)

If no malfunction was recognized:
- In selection -1-, click on diagnostic function "06 - End Output". End Output (Function 06)
