Panoramic Glass Roof Moving Panel Replacement

1. Close the moving glass panel fully.

2. Remove the mechanism track cover Service and Repair.

3. Release the hooks (A), then remove the mechanism glass cover (B).






4. Remove the screws securing the moving glass panel (A) with a TORX T25 bit on both sides.






5. Remove the moving glass panel (A) by lifting it up. Do not damage the roof panel.

NOTE: If you are only removing the moving glass panel, go to step 9. If you replace the moving glass panel with a new one, continue to step 6.






Edge Protector and Moving Glass Pads Installation

6. Clean the bonding surface on the inside face and the front edge of a new moving glass panel with a sponge dampened with isopropyl alcohol. After cleaning, do not allow oil, grease, and water to contact the clean surface.

7. Apply glass primer to the areas of the moving glass panel (A) where the edge protector (B) and the moving glass pads (C) will be attached, and let it dry.






8. Attach a new edge protector with the adhesive along the front edge of the moving glass panel, then push on the adhesive area to make adhesive stick securely. Attach new moving glass pads with adhesive tape to the inside face of the moving glass as shown.

9. Install the panel in the reverse order of removal, and do the moving glass panel position adjustment Adjustments.

10. Check for water leaks. Use free-flowing water from a hose without a nozzle. Do not use high-pressure water.

11. Check for open/close function.
