Front Cross-Member: Service and Repair







Collision member, replacing

Important information
The collision member is designed to collapse at the first force in the event of a collision.
In the event of a minor collision, only the collision member will be deformed. The engine frame will not be deformed.

Removing the collision member





Remove:
- the bumper. See Casing bumper front, replacing Service and Repair
- the 6 screws.

Installing the collision member

Note! For tightening torques, see Tightening torque [1][2]Body and Frame.

Suspend the member.

Install:
- the 6 M10 screws. Tighten
- the bumper according to Casing bumper front, replacing Service and Repair.
