Selecting the media player




- Ignition on
Activate identification of the type of media player the vehicle is equipped with by clicking the symbol for VCT2000.
Select the appropriate alternative.
1. Integrated audio module (IAM)
2. Media player module (MPM)





Select the desired alternative

Fault-tracing information
Check that nothing is in the way or inserted into the media player.
Remedy as necessary.

Was a fault detected?

Yes - FAULT FOUND

No - Replacing the component

Replacing the component
Before continuing with fault-tracing, the following must be checked:
- All tests for the relevant symptom must have been carried out
- No component, connector or wiring faults etc. should have been detected.
Try replacing the media player module (MPM).

Caution! A new media player module (MPM) is delivered without software. The transmission control module (TCM) must be programmed when it has been replaced.

Before continuing with fault-tracing, the following must be checked:
- All tests for the relevant symptom must have been carried out
- No component, connector or wiring faults etc. should have been detected.
Try replacing the Integrated Audio Module (IAM).

Caution! A new Integrated Audio Module (IAM) is supplied without software. It must be programmed in order for it to function after replacement.
