Engine, removal

Removal
Disconnect the battery. Refer to: Battery, disconnecting Battery Disconnecting.
Evacuate the fuel pressure. Refer to: Fuel system pressure release Fuel System Pressure Release.
Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Cooling system - draining, charging and bleeding Service and Repair.
Remove the following items:
- the auxiliaries belt Refer to: Auxiliary belt, B6324S5 Service and Repair
- the catalytic converter. Refer to: Catalytic converter, B6324S5 Service and Repair
- the upper torque rod. Refer to: Upper torque rod, B6324S5 Upper Torque Rod
- the propeller shaft. Refer to: Propeller Shaft, B6324S5, TF-80SC AWD Propeller Shaft
- front tires. Refer to: Installing wheels Service and Repair
- air cleaner housing. Refer to: Air cleaner housing, B6324S5 Service and Repair
- engine control module (ECM).
Loosen the AC-compressor and lay aside. Refer to: AC compressor, replacement, B6324S5 Service and Repair
Loosen nut link arm. Refer to: Ball joint, replacing Service and Repair
