Auxiliary belt

Removal

Remove the battery. Refer to: Battery, disconnecting Battery Disconnecting.


























M6. Refer to: Tightening torque, B6324S5 Tightening Torque





Use: 19 mm fixed wrench. , slacken the tensioner and relive the tension on the belt.
Use: 3 mm pin. and lock the tensioner in position.
When installing, check the belt's position on all belt grooves.

1. the power steering pump bracket in the transmission. M8. Refer to: Tightening torque, B6324S5 Tightening Torque
2. the power steering pump's rear stay. M8. Refer to: Tightening torque, B6324S5 Tightening Torque
3. the water pump coupling/pulley. M5. Refer to: Tightening torque, B6324S5 Tightening Torque
4. Delivery line to power steering pump. Refer to: Tightening torque, B6324S5 Tightening Torque





When removing
Remove the pins from the pulley. Rotate the power steering pump upward and rearward.
When installing
To facilitate fitting of the water pump coupling in the power steering pump pulley, turn the coupling until the spikes are in the 8 o'clock and 2 o'clock position as illustrated. Make sure that the pins stick out through the holes in the pulley.





When installing
Make sure that the coupling's spring (2) clicks in position at the bonded part of the water pump (1) and that the pins (3) enter the holes of the pulley.
Always use new centering pins (4).

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
