Preparatory work

Removing components

Remove:
- the center console. See: Center console Center Console
- the gear selector knob. See: Knob, gear shift selector, B5254T7, AW55-50/51SN Knob, Gear Shift Selector.

Removal

Removing the top panel




Carefully disconnect the four snap fasteners. Lift out the panel.

Caution! When the panel has been removed, a printed circuit board is visible. Do not touch the printed circuit board. Risk of electrostatic discharge.

Installation

Installing the top panel




Check that there is no dirt on the printed circuit board. Position the panel. Press the four snap fasteners into place in each corner.

Install:
- the gear selector knob. See: Knob, gear shift selector, B5254T7, AW55-50/51SN Knob, Gear Shift Selector
- the center console. See: Center console Center Console.
