Removal

Removing the gear selector knob




Turn the snap ring down a � turn. Press the snap ring all the way down.




Grasp the gear selector lever knob using both hands. Pull it straight upwards with a hard jerk.

Note! If the lock rod for the P-position comes loose, loosen the lock button slightly and hook the rod into place.

Installation

Installing gear selector knob




Press the gear selector knob so that it locks in the lever.




Lift up the snap ring. Turn it a � turn upwards, so that it locks in its uppermost position.

Check
Pull the gear selector knob. Check that the lock function operates in its positions.
