Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

Temperature and manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAPT)

Removal

Removing the Front Bumper cover
Remove the front bumper cover. See: Cover bumper front Service and Repair.

Removing the Pressure and Temperature sensor




Disconnect the connector for the sensor.

Remove:
- the screw for the sensor
- the sensor.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications. Tightening Torque.

Installing the Pressure and Temperature sensor

Install:
Hint: Use petroleum jelly or similar on the O-ring to make installation easier.

- the screw for the sensor. Tighten. Connect the connector for the sensor.

Installing the front bumper cover
- Install the front bumper cover. See: Cover bumper front Service and Repair.
