Front seat, replacing

Preparatory work

Ignition off




Ignition off.

Removal

Removing the front seat





Remove:
- the 2 panels located above the front screws for the seat
- the 4 x M10 screws
- the front seat side panel. See: Side panel front seat, replacing Side Panel Front Seat, Replacing
- the end mounting. See: End mounting, replacing End Mounting, Replacing
- the screw. Remove the connector under the seat.
Lift out the seat.

Caution! Two people are required for this procedure to prevent damage to the interior trim or the seat.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see: Tightening torque [1][2]Body and Frame.

Installing the front seat
Install the seat.

Caution! Two people are required for this procedure to prevent damage to the interior trim or the seat.

Install:
- the connector using the screw
- the 4 x M10 screws
- the 2 panels
- the end mounting. See: End mounting, replacing End Mounting, Replacing
- the side panel. See: Side panel front seat, replacing Side Panel Front Seat, Replacing.
