Check that nothing is in the way or inserted into the MD player.
Remedy as necessary.

Checking insert and eject
If a disc with contents that cannot be read by the CD player, e.g. a CD-ROM, has been inserted, the disc may get stuck and the text "unreadable disc" is shown on the display.
1. Turn on the CD player and wait until the text "unreadable disc"appears in the display.
2. Remove the fuses for the CD player module (MP2).
3. Wait at least 10 seconds and then refit the fuses.
4. Turn on the CD player again and wait until the text "unreadable disc" appears in the display.
5. Press the Eject button
6. Repeat as necessary, 2-5 times.

Replacing the component
Before continuing with fault-tracing, the following must be checked:
- All tests for the relevant symptom must have been carried out
- No component, connector or wiring faults etc. should have been detected.
Try replacing the CD module (MP2).
Caution! A new CD module (MP2) is supplied without software. The gearbox control module (TCM) must be programmed when it has been replaced.
